Order a Repeat Prescription

Repeat prescriptions have a turnaround of 24 hours those requested on a Friday are available the following Monday. (It is 48 hours if you order by internet)

Therefore if you order a repeat prescription · in the morning it will be ready for collection after 2.30pm the next day. ·Please order your repeat prescriptions as below:

Please use your green Minden computer repeat prescription slip that has your medication listed on it. Please indicate the medication you require by a tick only then:

By post - send your slip addressed to your GPs Receptionists. Please allow plenty of time before you run out of your medication. If you wish us to send the prescription back to you must enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.
In person - Please bring your slip to Minden. Please leave it in the boxes in the front entrance, hand it to the receptionist or if "out of hours" leave it in the box near the entrance gates.

If you have not got a computer repeat slip we have repeat prescription request slips at all reception areas - please ensure that you write the correct medication name and dose required. Put your name, date of birth and GP on the slip.

By telephone - we would prefer you to use one of the options above. They are safer. If you have to telephone repeat prescription requests please do so between 2.30pm and 5.00pm. Please do not call the surgery before this time as the mornings are extremely busy for receptionists who are booking appointments, taking home visit requests and generally getting post out and organising surgeries for the doctors.
On line repeat prescriptions - You may order only medication that is on our computerised repeat prescription record. Your prescription will be ready 48 hours later.
